The markets of Dar-Es-Salaam are always busy with people eking out a living selling anything they can. There's everything from live chickens to herbs to roasted corn, fruit, plastic buckets. Every day is different and interesting.
I "recovered" this from a film print scan. Oh, for a digital camera in those days when I roamed all over tropical Africa, backpacking on the back roads, camping in fields, seeing the real out-in-the-countryside Africa. I had to art this up because of the quality of the print/scan, and I hope I wound up with a decent image. The colors are real, however, since so many of the African women wear brightly colored clothes and wraps.
