The Paramount Building, New York City
The Paramount Building in New York City’s Times Square is actually now 1501 Broadway, a massive office building. But the old name hangs on from when it was originally built in the 1920s to be the headquarters for the Paramount movie studios. At the time it was the tallest building in Times Square. Of course, that status has been toppled by taller and taller skyscrapers since those days.
You can see the advertising lights on every building. Since 9/11, New York City has increased the lighting in the city as one more strike against crime and terrorism.
