Piraeus, Athens Port City, Greece
Piraeus is the port city for Athens, Greece. Its foundations date back to the time of Pericles in 400+ BC. It’s the biggest port in Greece. I took this photograph of the downtown location from a relatively small ship in the port. As you can see, it’s a busy downtown with multi-story business buildings on the waterfront, and more buildings and homes running up the hillside behind them. Reflections are pretty fantastic in the glass of the modern buildings.
I just noticed something. I think that's our ship reflected in the building to the left. Maybe if you look real close, you can see me and my camera.....
