Donut Shop No Longer, Vintage, Niceville, Florida
This donut bakery has been in business in Niceville, Florida for as long as I can remember. At the end of 2017, it finally went the way of all "progress". It was torn down for new construction of a chain hotel. The baker would come to work at 3:30 or 4:00 AM and start making his donuts and various other pastries. There are those in the area that wouldn't eat a donut from anywhere else. It would sell out (usually and mostly) by about 10:00 AM.
I don't think it ever really had a published name. It was just known as the donut shop (no capitalization intended). If some said the donut shop, everybody in the area just knew.
Ah, progress. This donut shop is no longer.
